LIABILITY
The person who arranges for or subsequently signs for the delivery of the sunbed specified on the agreement, must be over 18 years of age and provide two forms of identification as requested to do so, and shall have the responsibility for the delivered sunbed, between the date of delivery and the collection date. The Hirer must also not allow anyone under the age of 18 to use a sunbed on the premises hired from TanCentre Ltd.
You must sign the Company ‘Rental Terms and Conditions’ documents upon delivery (one copy for you and one copy retained by the Company). Any loss or damage of the delivered sunbed will render the hirer liable, and he/she will be legally required to reimburse the Company, the full retail price for any loss, damage and repair along with any loss of business to the Company due to the fact that the Company’s property has been misused.

INDEMNITY
​
The Company instructs all users of the hired sunbed, to read the advisory note (see below – IMPORTANT) and to display the Health and Safety Executive and the Department of Health UV Tanning Information poster provided with every hire in a prominent position for all users of the Sunbed. In all cases, the Company will not be liable for any burns and injuries, direct or consequential arising from the use of, or inability to use the equipment on hire.

PAYMENT & PRE-BOOKINGS
A deposit of 25% will be required when pre-booking and reserving your Home Hire Sunbed, the balance for the sunbed hire is required a least 24 hours before the due delivery date. Deposits and payments can be made either in store by cash, debit or credit debit card, all online or phone bookings are via credit or debit card only and all payments must be in the name and registered address of the person specified on the Sunbed Hire Rental Agreement.
Please Note: Our drivers do not carry cash for safety & security reasons and therefore are unable to accept cash on delivery, our delivery team will contact you at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date to arrange the delivery time and any outstanding balance.

DELIVERY & COLLECTION
​
Delivery & Collection take place between 9:00am to 5:00pm for most areas, we cannot issue an exact time but we will be able to offer you a more narrowed two-hour time slot once the delivery & collection runs have been planned and this is either the day prior or on the day of the scheduled delivery.
The specified sunbed will need to be available for collection from the site where the Company delivered them to, at the time and date stated on the rental agreement. During busy periods (peak times) our delivery team may contact you before the scheduled collection date should they need to amend the collection time. We will text you at least 5 days prior to the end of your hire agreement period and again 24-48 hours before the collection date with another collection reminder.

Sunbeds being kept for consecutive periods (Re-Hire) at the end of your agreed hire period, the hirer must notify us 5 (five) days before the planed collection date of the hired sunbed, as stated on the Sunbed Hire Rental Agreement. If we are able to extend the sunbed rental period, this will be strictly subject to availability and sufficient notification time being provide by the customer on re-hiring. Unless otherwise agreed by the company all customers must make payment for Re-Hire prior to the end of the existing hire period. All re-hire payments must be made 48 hours before the due collection date, otherwise the sunbed will be collected and re-allocated to those waiting. The hirer will be charged at a rate of £25.00 per day after the agreed collection date if our drivers for any reason are unable to collect the sunbed on the planned collection date and until the sunbed has been collected by the company.

It's important to point out that during peak season we often have a very large waiting list of customers wishing to hire our sunbeds and all the sunbeds that are due off hire and being collected, are being allocated to those on our waiting list, all customers on our waiting list are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Please Note: We are unable to remove our shoes during delivery or collection, for health and safety reasons.

IMPORTANT
Before you use your sunbed, the Company recommend that you read the following as ultraviolet light radiation from the sun or from UV appliances can cause skin or eye damage. These biological effects depend on the quality and quantity of the radiation as well as upon the skin sensitivity of the individual. The skin may develop sunburn after excessive exposure, excessively repeated exposures to ultraviolet light from the sun or UV appliances may lead to premature ageing of the skin as well as an increased risk of skin tumours.

The unprotected eye may develop surface inflammation and in certain cases damage may occur to the retina after excessive exposure, cataracts may develop after many repeated exposures. Special care is necessary in cases of pronounced individual sensitivity to ultraviolet radiation and in cases where certain medicines or cosmetics are used.

1. Always use the sunbed goggles provided upon delivery of your sunbed.
2. Remove all cosmetics well in advance of exposure and do not apply any sunscreens.
3. Do not undergo exposure when taking medicines which increase the sensitivity to ultraviolet light. If in doubt, take medical advice.
4. Do not expose any part of the body more than once a day and do not sunbathe the same day.
5. Adhere to recommendations concerning exposure times, intervals between exposure and distances from the lamp.
6. Seek medical advice if persistent in lumps, sores or pigmented moles develop on the skin.
7. Do not use the sunbed in the bathroom.
8. No parts are user serviceable. Do not remove any parts or attempt to dismantle the sunbed units. Do not cover or restrict any ventilations.
9. It is recommended that the unit is positioned 3-9 inches away from the body. Avoid unnecessary movement of the unit.

REFUNDS

Pre booking deposits or the hire agreement period are not refundable or transferable to anyone, the inability to use the Home Hire Sunbed equipment on hire directly or consequentially arising from any circumstance including medical are not refundable.
Please ensure you or anyone else using a home hire sunbed are able to do so before hiring a our Home Hire Sunbeds.

DAMAGE/LOSS
​
Please note that the Company cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to clients property whilst on the premises.

CHANGES TO PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES
​
Clients are required to inform the Company immediately of any change in circumstances that affect their eligibility to use UV Tanning equipment.

CHANGES TO CLIENTS ACCOUNTS

Please note that any changes to clients personal details must be made via email or letter to the customer services team email info@tancentre.co.uk.
